Moral Reasoning - Critical Thinking

This exercise draws on the many teaching stories that are availiably in Sufism that are designed to stimulate critical thinking. These tales are short, use a character called Mullah Nasruddin or in the Turkish adaptations Nasreddin Hodja, and aways take a satirical persective.

The attached story relates issues concerning fair and equitable sharing of a meal at a restaurant and the best or right ways of dealing with the problems that may arise.

Intended Audience and Usage

The attached story has some teaching notes and I use it to stimulate critical thinking and then extend this to the moral issues framing sustainability practice.
