This case study is designed to have application across various disciplines with a core theme related to sustainability and more specifically the Circular Economy. It forms part of a series of case studies that can be implemented in an interdisciplinary curriculum design supported by a problem-based learning approach. This work is supported by the Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT)
The focal case study organisation was identified through a CSIRO funded flagship research cluster called Wealth from Waste. The Wealth from Waste Cluster is a research collaboration between the
Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), University of Technology Sydney (UTS), The University of Queensland, Swinburne University of Technology, Monash University and Yale University. The Wealth from Waste Cluster is part of the Minerals Resources Flagship and is supported by the Manufacturing Flagship.
