Deliberative governance in the public and private sectors

This video presentation was part of the Climate Change: Business and Organisational Responses Symposium held at the University of Sydney in March 2013 and convened by the Sydney Network on Climate Change and Society .

Content: Some strong theoretical claims can be made on behalf of the efficacy of deliberative democracy when it comes to complex social-ecological problems. In light of available evidence and the lessons of experience, Professor Dryzek argues that it is possible to redeem these claims when it comes to climate governance, at all levels from the local to the global.
