Dr. Seçil Bayraktar earned her B.A. in Management from Bogazici University (2002), M.A. in Marketing from Marmara University (2006), and Ph.D. in Management from Bogazici University (2013), with a particular focus on Organizational Studies. Her doctoral work on organizational change, with an emphasis on affective and cognitive dimensions of employee reactions to change, has received “Bogazici University Scientific Research Funds Best Dissertation Award”. During the years 2013 and 2014, she has worked as a post doctoral research fellow at University of Victoria, Canada, focusing on cross cultural research projects on leadership and HR Climate. Her research interests broadly include cross-cultural management, leadership, organizational change, and entrepreneurship. Her work has been presented in various leading international conferences and published in scholarly international journals. Dr. Bayraktar teaches courses on organizational behavior, international management, leadership, business communication, human resources management, and general management.
