26100 Integrating Business Perspectives

This subject provides students with an overview of the business landscape with its various economic, legal and regulatory dimensions, in the private, public and non-profit sectors. It provides an introduction to the relationship between the various business disciplines and their contribution to the value of the business and society. Students consider ethical and sustainability issues as they relate to the role of business in society. In addition, the subject incorporates the development of graduate skills for business professionals, in particular those relating to (business) written communication, oral presentations, group work, and critical, integrative and creative thinking.
